Start your Shangri La tour by traveling to Zhongdian, stopping en route to explore the Route of Tea and Horses, an ancient trade route. Then continue on to famed Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world. Later, a leisurely afternoon stroll navigating the cobbled streets of Zhongdian might culminate in a bit of dancing in the town square!
